Dear Friends,

As many of you may have heard, there was a severe fire yesterday that devastated several businesses located directly across the street from the new salon. Among them were Patina, Heidi's, Blackbird Cafe, Shoppe Local and Stacey Johnson Jewelry Design.

I am saddened by the loss my fellow business owners suffered as a result of the fires. Thankfully, no one was severely hurt. However, the loss is a personal one for both the business owners, staff and neighborhood.

Everyone here at Kasia is keeping them in our prayers and will be extending a hand to help in whatever way we can.

Thankfully, the new salon space, located directly across the street from where the fires broke out, is unharmed. Kasia Organic Salon will open its doors for the first time on February 25, 2010 in an open house celebration from 4PM-8PM.

It is my intention to use this grand opening to also provide a forum to show support for my fellow business owners. More information about that will be released next week.
