Hello beauty!
As an ultra-creative and lover of color, I always love to see the new reveal of the Pantone Collection. This week Pantone released the colors of influence for the year of 2016, and i just LOVE them!
Never heard of "Pantone"?
Pantone is the jet setter of the trends we often start to see after it announces its color the year. This explains why you'll suddenly see the same hue's of color showing up in on the store clothes rack to eye shadow and jewelry inspirations.
Although... this year, they've changed methodology and made the decision based off of inspiration from the WELLNESS industry (and the upcoming trends of quartz and crystals).
Not only did Pantone break with tradition to select not one, but two shades—Rose Quartz (a cloudy light pink) and Serenity (a baby blue)—but the company also indicated that these picks reflect the shift towards wellness they've been seeing in the world.
"As consumers seek mindfulness and well-being as an antidote to modern day stresses, welcoming colors that psychologically fulfill our yearning for reassurance and security are becoming more prominent," the company explained in their announcement this week, adding that it's "a symbolic color selection; a color snapshot of what we see taking place in our culture that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude."
How will Beauty Ecology and our NEW Evoq Professional Line be enveloping the PANTONE into your skin and beauty rituals?
A little inspiration. A little suspense.
We're excited to share with you upcoming beauty BREAKTHROUGH news on how we will be incorporating the incredible benefits that Rose Quartz (and other earth elementals) will be used in your facials and take home skin health products.
"Rose quartz is one of the most powerful stones for activating a heart-healing experience," Gemstone Organics co-owner Sara Clement says. "Its beautiful and brilliant pink tones bathe us in the energies of forgiveness, acceptance, and tranquility."
